PRIME MINISTER

Mr. Joseph NAHAYO is a politician of Rwandan origin, married and father of three children. He was born in 1973 in the commune of Mukingo, in the prefecture of Ruhengeri, parish of Busogo. He currently resides and lives in Belgium.

He began his political career in 2011. Deeply involved in politics, he quickly joined forces with other supporters in 2013 to found the Ishema political party. As one of Ishema’s pillars, he created two teams called Abataripfana for the Belgian section of the same party.

Mr. Nahayo completed several higher education and university programs in Belgium, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in social sciences from the French Community of Belgium( Communauté française de Belgique), followed by two master's degrees (one in social economics and the other in political science), both from the Catholic University of Louvain( UCL)

Since 2019, he has been involved in politics within the Rwandan Government in Exile; he has held several ministerial portfolios, including Minister of the Interior and Rural Development, Minister in the Office of President, and, more recently, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

His political priority is to work with Rwandans oppressed by the yoke of dictatorship and apartheid imposed by the RPF and its supporters, so that they can free themselves once and for all from their chains. They will restore a prosperous country based on democratic principles, a country where every citizen enjoys equal opportunities, a country with a shared economy, a country where citizens will have a say in what is done for them, a country where they will be free and enjoy fundamental human rights.

He is opposed to the ideology of the RPF, which continues to undermine the welfare of the Rwandan generation.

    Ms. Kantengwa, was born in Rwanda, and is a lawyer with a Master’s degree (LL.M.) from Suffolk University Law School, in Boston, MA, U.S.A., with a focus on International Law & Business and Intellectual Property, a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Nairobi International School of Theology in Kenya, and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from African Institute of Public Administration (AIPA).

    Ms. Kantengwa currently works at a Law Firm, in Massachusetts, U.S.A. Prior to that, Ms. Kantengwa worked with other entities including Christian organizations.

    In 2021, when H.E President Thomas Nahimana reshuffled the cabinet, She was appointed a Minister in charge of the refugees repatriation and eradicating the refuge causes in Rwanda’s government in exile, a position She held until December 2022.

    In January 2023 She moved to the Ministry of interior and communal development in the same capacity.

    Il est convaincu que le gouvernement rwandais actuel, dirigé par un groupe de menteurs, a causé beaucoup de mauvaises choses notamment la haine entre les Rwandais et aussi aux pays voisins, des tueries, au Rwanda et à l’extérieur, ainsi que l’injustice dans la répartition de l’économie du pays etc.

    Jean Vivien a décidé de rejoindre le Gouvernement du Peuple Rwandais en Exil, constitué de Rwandais qui sont déterminés à construire un nouveau Rwanda, fondé sur la démocratie et le respect des droits humains et la non-discrimination, surtout déterminés à rassembler le Rwanda pour les Rwandais. Sa contribution portera sur « l’avenir du Rwanda paisible »

    Convaincu que le pouvoir est entre les mains d’hommes égoïstes, qui ont mis le Rwanda dans ce chaos, jusqu’à présent, il milite pour son abolition et pour le retour d’un Rwanda de paix.

    Michael has decided to join the Rwandan Government in Exile to fight for liberation of Rwanda, where each Rwandan citizen, regardless of his/her race, tribe or gender or political affiliation feels safe and protected in his/her own country.

    The aim is to establish a Government in Rwanda which respect the rule of Law, where no one is above the Law.
